The staff of the Office of Planning, Training and Institutional Research consists of seven full-time employees and two part-time employees. The staff embodies extensive experience and expertise in areas including higher education, planning and assessment, program evaluation, training and organizational development, statistics, survey research, focus groups, quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Several of the staff have held Executive Director positions prior to coming to Villanova. Prior work settings include educational, human services, public administration, and the private sector. OPTIR staff are active in their professional fields and have held leadership positions with such professional associations as HEDS, PICURC, NEAIR, ACE, NAICU, NCCI, AIR, EERS, IHSC. Our staff members have authored  professional papers and publications and have made  numerous presentations at conferences and professional meetings.
