             Miriam joined the OPTIR’s precursor, the Human Organization Science Institute in 1987 as bookkeeper, handling the fiscal records of both the department and its numerous external projects. Several years ago she also assumed responsibility for OPTIR’s data collection for external agencies which total over twenty reports each year to governmental and other sources. Drawing on her earlier writing experience as an historian at Independence National Historic Park, Miriam writes and edits the VQI/OPTIR pages in Blueprints. She also serves as final proofreader for all OPTIR reports, both technical and other.
Miriam attended Chestnut Hill College (Philadelphia) where she obtained a BA in History.
