Earn continuing education credits while you learn! In cooperation with the Office of Continuing Studies, we are pleased to announce that Continuing Education Units will now be available for
many seminars .
The Continuing Education Unit, or CEU, is a nationally-recognized unit of measure, indicating successful completion of a non-degree continuing education course. A CEU is defined as "ten contact hours in an organized program under responsible sponsorship, capable direction and qualified instruction." Each hour of program instruction earns
.1 CEU. Therefore, a two-hour program is equivalent to .2 CEU, a four-hour program, .4 CEU and so on.
Earning CEU's is easy. When you register for a program, indicate whether you would like to earn CEU credit. At the end of each semester, you will receive a certificate which indicates the number of CEU's earned for that semester. Completion of the session is required for CEU's to be awarded. |
